Is there a filter holder that will work with 4x5 HiTech filters? I remember something about the Colkins but didn't know if it would work with filter this large. If so, what is its name and how readily available is it in US? Thanks
Take a look at the Cokin Z-Pro holder. There is also the Lee holder, but they are more costly and heavier. With either of these holders you'll need to buy the adapter ring for each lens screw-in filter size.
I know B&H has the Cokin, and they may still stock the Lee.

Joe, just a suggestion for overall adapting to various sizes. You might buy a larger adapter ring then buy the cheaper step up rings for your various smaller opening lenses. You have to be careful about vignetting if they're super wides.
For example: my largest opening on my lenses is 77mm, however, I have several lenses with smaller openings. I bought the Lee Filter Wide Angle adapter ring at 77mm and then used step up rings for all other lenses so they will fit 77mm holder setup.
Additionally it saves time in the field. The holder remains with the 77mm adapter and it then screws into each of the smaller lenses that step up to that thread size. Those step rings I never pull off the given lens, they're always in place ready to go.
Just a thought if you've got several lenses to use.

Good idea, Paul.
I've never been a fan of step-up rings because I always lost them. I suppose I could lose the adapter rings, too. I am equally adept at either one.
