Over my two weeks in the Colorado Mountains shooting Fall Color, I rented a Sony A7R with Metabones EF Adaptor. It looked clean in a crop mode; but once I got it into a Full Frame mode, I noticed hard (to black) vignetting in the corners with all my EF glass. Since this was mostly a comparison test to my 5Dm3, I was not shut down - but I did have to compose roughly 2:1 or 1:1 to allow for the unusable areas. I have checked around on that camera; and on the web (albeit not deep) and have not noticed much. Is this just known - obviously the Metabones adds a substantial tunnel; or did I just flop on a setting (on-purpose vignetting? )
Minireview - As a whole, I liked the final pix albeit a bit more contrasty with more DR packed into the same numeric range. But in the field I am not a fan of the greenish EVF, especially when trying to make sense of yellow Aspens; or trying to make delicate ND or polarized adjustments. OTOH, I did like the Focus Peaking - want that. Might pick it up as a second body (retiring my 7D) if Canon does not get off their ...
Strange, i tested some of my EF lenses even TS lenses and i don't get any vignetting on my A7R at FF mode, something wrong with your settings, i really don't know why it is happening to you and not happen with me, check out again.
