As the fall color unfolds throughout our region, I thought it might be useful for folks to have a thread to post information and photographs they would like to share.
As of yesterday, the Ponca and Steele Creek areas of the Buffalo River have some nice color - especially late afternoon and early morning. I also visited the Richland and Falling Water Creek areas, where there was also a lot of nice color. Probably not what I'd call peak, but some pockets will look their best over the next week or so. The photograph I posted is from Richland Creek yesterday.

Thanks, Bill...I was trying to judge when was best to head up to that area which is kinda hard when you are a whole day drive away. Nice image, by the way.
