I've been driving past this scene near my sister's house in Wichita for a couple of decades thinking that it might make a nice image if the conditions are right. But there was always a problem: Too much wind, wrong time of day, no clouds, wrong time of year. Lots of excuses. Today, though, the conditions all came together for me.

And thank you for stopping to make this beautiful image, Bill. Proof that good things come to him who waits.

Yep, I would also echo the waiting was worth it! My only nit would be the silo is leaning toward the right. Don't know if that is just a simple lens correction you can do in Lightroom/Photoshop or not. Or maybe just tilting the whole image a bit won't mess up the horizon lines? Too bad a cow wan't lying in the foreground
