I have stopped receiving the twice daily updates since April and have tried emailing the editor x2 to see how I can get them started again. Please help. I have paid membership for 3 years and miss the updates. Thanks for your help!

Hi Debbie-
Sorry you are having trouble. I don't know about twice daily updates though. I know you can have an email sent when someone posts to a particular forum or post. I have also noticed that I usually get them later the same day- not immediately. I have passed on this post to the editor to see if he has any suggestions for you or if there might be some kind of internal problem. Hang in there!

Thanks Bob! Bob Falcone is also helping me on this. We used to get an email at 10am and at 10pm daily, that had all the new postings from all the forums. Did they do away with those? Also I requested an email be sent to me when someone replied to this thread and I didn't get it. I only saw your post because I went to the website to check. Weird!

On your Preferences screen make sure your email address is correct and that you have checked the box to receive email from NPN admin. If that's all good, then it is an ISP issue - your service provider has black-listed the NPN email address. This is a never-ending battle for us and happens when spammers use our address to send their spam. Your only course of action is to contact them and ask that they allow email from editor@naturephotographers.net pass through.

I've also noticed the missing updates and I just confirmed that my preferences are correct. I also checked my email settings and editor@naturephotographers.net is on my "safe senders" list and not on my blocked list.
