ID Help Please!

Hi guys! It's been a LONG time since I posted something in here! Does anyone know what kind of duck this is? We were thinking a female goldeneye, but unlike other goldeneyes we've seen, this one has brown eyes. She was also the only one in the pond of this breed. The ducks that were with her flew off too quickly for my to ID them, but I do know they were NOT goldeneyes.

Juvenile Goldeneye. I don't know whether Common or Barrow's.

I agree with Jim. Telling Common from Barrow's at this stage might be possible with enough experience of both species, based on the size and shape of the bill plus the slope of the forehead, but that rules me out.

Thanks guys! I posted another pic of her in the avian gallery and juvenile goldeneye was the agreed species there as well. Thanks for your help.
