Hi Folks: I received the following blurb from the Washington chapter of The Nature Conservancy. They're looking for volunteer photographers. I checked with Lauren Miheli, the volunteer coordinator on the conditions of the release and she told me that the photographer retains ownership with TNC having the right to use the images for their publicity and publications. She'd like to have responses by September 5th as she has scheduled an orientation for September 8th. The orientation can be attended in person at their Seattle office or with videoconference as an option for those who are not in Seattle. Lauren's email is: lmiheli@tnc.org

She also asked to have you send a link to your portfolio as they want to make assignments based on portfolio.

Volunteer Photography Team Members
The Nature Conservancy in Washington is looking for enthusiastic photographers to photograph volunteer and staff events, our preserves, wildlife, recreation, food, and travel for use on social media, digital media, and print publications. Volunteer photographers will be given an orientation including specific brand guidelines and story assignments. Volunteers will be expected to process and submit photos by assigned due dates, and agree to release photos to The Nature Conservancy along with proper photo credit. This is a great opportunity for photographers to expand their portfolios, see amazing and remote places in Washington, and share their love of the outdoors. There is also potential for their work to be featured online and in our print magazine and be seen by an international audience.
