Emerald lake drama
I have hiked up Emerald lake, dream lake area at least five times this summer but never have I found such wonderful conditions. Well, one of those days yesterday morning where all conditions were perfect for a nice morning shoot

Thanks for your c&c as always ..

Excellent set. I like #5 best. #3 feels a little funky- the tree is straight but the lake appears slightly tilted? I might try to pull a little more color out of the lake and background rock in #2. Love those high lakes you have up there.

Thanks Bob, I actually desaturated #3 and pulled a lot of yellow out of it. That said, the golden color on the lake at that time was really unbelievable .. :wavey:

I prefer no. 1; next no. 5. Quite a spectacular sight and well done. To me, comparing no. 2 and no. 1, it appears no. 1 is tilted to the left a bit.

As they say, persistence pays off. As already mentioned, you may want to play around with tilting #1 to the right. Those trees indeed may be tilting to the left naturally, but can't remember for sure. Gorgeous light capture on #1 for sure as well as the rainbow capture on #5. :toast:

Nice set, with the first and last being the picks of the litter, I'd say. The last rainbow shot is I think the most special moment.

Yes, the rainbow is awesome! I like #1, but it looks 'pasty'--I think the red channel is blown, or something is enhancing the jpeg banding in the sky-hard to diagnose w/o the original files. Nice work overall. :wavey:
