Wake up, everyone! This place is D-E-A-D

Whats it gonna take to liven everyone up? Start a discussion titled, "Digital vs. Film; which is best?" or "Digicams are for weenies", or "Does Jerry sleep with his 5D?"

Dont make me do it. Dont make me shake things up around here!

So, anybody going up this weekend? I'm going to try (again) to make Craggy and maybe overnight somewhere along the Parkway.

Alice, I'm probably headed for Craggy Gardens and maybe the Black Balsam/Shining Rock area if the weather isn't stormy.

Jerry,

When are you going to Mt. Rogers? I was thinking of getting away and was considering Dolly Sods.

RB:

Sorry for the lack of babble... I'm in Colorado and haven't had to ask all my usual questions of where/when/who... etc.

I'll be heading back to SC on Sunday, and I'll probably spend every weekend in June chasing rhodies and whatever else you guys can suggest.

Alice,
Mt Rogers has wild ponies!! You should go and then tell me where they are  Also Linville area is blooming rhodies.

John,

I'll be hiking in around lunch Saturday, staying overnight then hiking out Sunday afternoon. Oh, BTW, that's this weekend!

I camped near Rhodo Gap in Mount Rogers on Wednesday night. The Sarvis are blooming up there and the early spring foliage is nice, but not much else going on bloom-wise. As usual, it was WINDY. Leeann, I always see lots of ponies when I go in at Massie Gap. Which rhodo are blooming in Linville? I'm guessing it's the end of the Carolina rhodo bloom and not the Catawba.
