It's been a long time since I've been able to escape the office and squeeze in a bit of wildlife photography! So finding this chap while out & about made for a pleasant change :cool:

With a job taking me out & about on the moors this next year, hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a bit more wildlife photography while I'm out too.

A great bird to find, and a nicely composed shot. The head seems a little soft compared to the body of the bird.

Hi Nick, just had a week trying to photograph these birds, pleased you where able to at least get a shot or two. Agree looks a little soft was that because it was taken at a distance?.

The bird was quite close by me - It's been so long since I've had anything to post that I forgot to apply any sharpening :rolleyes:
