Pecos River Nightscape
Here is one from the Pecos River as it winds through west Texas on its way to the Rio Grande.

Venus hangs in the night sky with the Milky Way.

Taken on a rented Canon 6D with my Bower (Samyang) 14mm.

See more on my blog:

Looks good, Darren. Venus shines like a small sun, instead of a planet :). I just picked up a Rokinon 14mm, but still have to keep my exposures under 20 sec, but I am on a 7D.

Oh wow!

If you like the Rokinon (same lens as Bower and Samyang) 14mm now, wait until you go full frame. That is when it really shines. Samyang lenses are awesome, especially for night. I just added the 24mm f/1.4 they make specifically for night.

Nice, Darren! The clouds on the left side are great.
