Waterfall in Columbia River Gorge
I know it is a long way from the Central states. This was one of the falls I visited in the Columbia River Gorge. Neat area with many falls. Avoid Multnomah and you can have the rest for yourself. This one required a small hill to hike but 15 minutes got you to this one.

You're right Darren, that is a ways from central states but thanks for sharing. I remember driving through there as a kid with my parents and recall that it was beutiful and unique.

Beautiful...like a scene from a fairytale. Definitely one of the places I still need to see... While the white sky/cloud above the fall is a bit distracting, I think I see why you kept that upper part of the frame. The crown of leaves at the top of the prominent tree to the left adds a lot. And those ferns - wow!

Beautiful, and so green :). Bill already commented on the white sky patch; I had similar first thoughts. I don't think that cropping off the top 1/3 of the sky patch would hurt anything though.
