I would like to know all the links or sites about workshops that will be available for PNW in the period August-November, i am planning to visit PNW few days within one of those months, mostly will be September if everything will be fine, and if i will have free time from work on those months, but just in case i place this topic in advance to plan properly before i travel for sure.
I am planning to be in Washington and Oregon states only, planning to travel for mostly 3 weeks, Seattle is the direct flight point from my country, so i will go around from there.
Looking for landscapes, NPs mostly, i saw the photos and it is really big list to choose to visit in just 3 weeks, the main point is how to access those beautiful locations at different times, from sunrise to sunset.
Thanks for any help or information and details

I live on the Olympic peninsula. I love it here. I've been hiking a photographing Olympic National Park for nearly 30 years (holy moley I'm getting old, and truth be told, I've not done any serious backcountry hiking for a number of years).
Anyway, I've got three spaces left in a small workshop that's limited to six people: July 20-27. We'll visit Hurricane Ridge, Deer Park, Sol Duc, Lake Crescent area, the Hoh and the beaches. With any luck the Obstruction Point road will be open.
We'll also try to visit one of the local lavender farms.

Sandy has a good pick for you. Rod Barbee is a fantastic workshop leader. So is David Cobb. Contacting them directly, along with Greg Vaughn, may result in some good photo ops for you during the time you plan to visit. I think that any of these people would be happy to customize something for you if they are available. Plan ahead with them and see what they can do for you.
We ( PNWNP ) usually have a trip to Mt. Adams/Trout Lake in Sept or October depending on how the Autumn season color develops. You would be welcome to join us. Watch this forum for developments around that time. It's a weekend photography outing ( free, except for your own lodging and food expenses ) not a workshop– no formal instruction. But we talk a lot about photography while we are out and about!
Well, my plan is not fixed or flexible as i want, i have either July or September, but July is very early for me as i may have a new job very soon, even September may not be an option but i will try hard for September, i know that PNW is getting windy/rainy from November or late October so i will try to come before those months, September is about 70% i can, July is about 20% i can, 10% for October, so i will try to keep September as my main plan month.
In fact i am not looking for a group workshop, i want 1-to-1 workshop, or even i am not planning for a workshop, i just want to access to locations there within Washington/Oregon states, but i don't drive so that i left with only workshops if i want to get around.

Thank you for the recommendation, Catherine, and I agree with you that David Cobb and Rod Barbee are great workshop leaders, and they are intimately familiar with the Pacific Northwest.
Tareq: Most workshop leaders who do group photo tours/workshops, also do individual tours customized to the clients needs, as schedules permit. When you have a better idea of your travel dates, an email to any of those on the list I mentioned above will likely give you some good results.
Thanks Greg, i really hope fix and confirm my dates, and more important is to have those workshops leader free for my time and having my needs i am looking for, i made a list of places or locations i would like to visit there just in advance if i can't get any instructors/leader free schedule for individual for me so i can try hard to visit locations by myself.
If you do you mind and if you have time, can you list/name me the locations i should visit there within PNW [Washington and Oregon only] so i have a better idea where i should go? I want landscapes that including beaches/sunsets, mountains, rivers, waterfalls, lakes,.......etc.
Above our banner at the top of the page, you will see a row of text links to other pages on the PNWNP Forum. Click on "Locations" to find a nice list of places to see with all the features you're looking for. You'll be be a busy photographer while here!
