South Puget Sound Starting to Bloom
The prairies and oak woodlands here are starting to put on their spring show. Here are a few recent shots. The first is a Sessile Trillium (Trillium parviflora)

Enjoy the spring!

The second is a Shooting star.

And lastly the Common Camas (Camassia quamash).

Dennis, the Camas is stunning w/background color and bokeh. Superb details… I like the trillium next with the Shooting Star a close third.

Oh, my mouth is watering over these fine shots! You have clearly perfected your patience in singling out good blooms and going for unique perspectives on them. I'd say it's a signature style for you, Dennis. Most of the time I can ID yours before I see your name attached to the post.

Wonderful shots! I really like all 3 shots. The Camas lily is georgous.

It's finally starting to bloom around here too. I tried some hand held shots but it's been so long since I touched my camera it just couldn't do the job. Of course it had to be the camera's fault! I'm going to try again with the tripod this weekend.
