Skagit Valley Tulips
My wife and I visited the tulip fields a week ago, Apr 8th…. most were just starting to open and others were near peaking. By now, the fields must be glorious!

I am sure others have a few to post up too.

My favorite is #2, by far. Great leading lines. Were these at Tulip Town, Roozengaarde, or some other field?

Very nice Ken! Amazing you were able to get such nice shots without hoards of people in the way. Wish I could take a day off and get up there during the week.

Very nice, Ken. Been a long time since I've gone up there.

Nice landscapes of the fields, Ken! I like all of them, but especially 1 and 2. To the clouds in 2 and 3 look a little too stark; it's distracting me. Otherwise, the light and your processing look great. You found a good location for a nice background with the hills.

I tried to go up on Sunday and never saw a tulip because of total gridlock starting south of Everett! What possessed me to go on a weekend! But I returned today and had a great time. Roosengaarde looks especially good right now including both the gardens and the large field across the street.

#2 is exceptional... beautiful color and the leading lines draw you in to the lovely mountain range. In #1the crates are a big distraction for me. #3 is pretty but doesn't have the impact of #2. I certainly would be proud of #2 if it was in my collection.

Excellent images Ken. My favorite is the second one with the rows of tulips leading the eye out into the frame. Beautiful colors.
