These little (3/8 - 1/2 inch) blooms come up around April 1st and last a week or so. They grow on tall (12-18 inch) stalks, and grow out of what appears to be a bulb with longish grass type base. Any clues?

Location is south Mississippi, shot on my patio.

Where (geographically & habitat) might help.

Bill, looks like a False Garlic (Nothoscordum bivalve) a member of the Lily Family or Wild Garlic (Allium canadense) also a member of the Lily Family. Hope this helps.

Looks like Crow Poison (false garlic) to me, too.
