This is a great denoise program. And half off is $39.99

Can anyone comment on the relative effectiveness of Denoise vs Lightroom 5's noise reduction?

In line with Ronald's request above, can anyone comment on the relative effectiveness of Denoise vs Noise Ninja?

I formerly used the Noise Ninja noise reduction (NR) plugin in Photoshop CS3 about 7 years ago with my old Nikon D200 and D300. It was quite effective.
However, if you are shooting in RAW mode, the NR software in PS-CS6 and Photoshop Elements 12 RAW converter (found under the "Detail" icon) is very effective... even for images shot at ISO 6400 with the latest digi cams! If you have JPEG images with some digital noise, you can easily correct it now in Elements 12 by going to "File->Open in Camera Raw" then click Open. This brings your JPEG images into the Adobe RAW converter, allowing you to make many of the adjustments formerly available only for truly RAW images.
A photography friend in our local camera club uses and loves the Topaz Denoise PS plugin, but honestly, I see very little difference to the latest Photoshop NR versions. His NR came as a package with the Topaz Adjust software. FYI - Nik Software also has an NR software, as does Noise Ninja.
