Yakima River Swans
Occasionally swans make an appearance in the beautiful Yakima River Canyon between Yakima and Ellensburg. There were 4 of them but only three now. Hopefull the one flew away but the more probably scenario is that an eagle or coyotes go it. Canon 7D; tv setting; 1/2000; 8.0; ISO200

Great candid shot Jim! A crop from the top and right would highlight the swans more, but it's still good as is.

I like the crop! Very nice capture, love the reflections in the water. Only drawback is the overlapping swans to the left. Don't ya just wish you coulda gotten one of them to step out of the frame? Hey, Julio, this one is just of Sarah and Omar, move it!

Jim, nice going! Great display by the one swan, I think it needs the room for it. Crop from top helps; maybe not so far in from the right? Now that we've got your head spinning about cropping every which way, I'm gonna sit back and imagine it stretching out those gorgeous wings. Looks like a place with lots of photo ops. What else goes on there through the seasons? Would you like to show us sometime? We on the west side need to dry out the moss 'tween our toes now and then.
