Mossy Intimate
My girlfriend Heide and I joined Bruce and Catherine on a little photo outing today around the Carbon River near MRNP.

Lots of nice little cascades and mossy rocks to shoot, as well as good comraderie.

I came away with a few decent shots, this one being one of my favorites.

Nice detail and color in the moss, Joe. Good isolation of the subject, while the background hints at all rest of the lush forest-- especially the abundance of ferns and hanging moss.

I like it, Joe. Nice detail and light on the lichen.

Hey Joseph , good eye, unlike Catherine I think that if you could make the background even darker it would make the moss stand out even more , buts that is just MY two cents.

Nice. I like the detail in the crinkly moss. Darker background would help, I think, or just burning a few of those colorful mid-tones a bit.

This is nice Joe! Especially the repost. I like the detail and light, and how you isolated it from the background. Good job!
