7d 70-300mm f8 ISO 250 AP Matrix
Taken on Skomer early May last year when there were very few Puffins about.

Excellent image! Sharp, great background and I like the positioning of the Puffin. The rock outcropping on lower rightis a bit distracting. The puffin looks very worried and probably wondering where the others all went and has decided embark on a search for them.

Hey Kim good to see you on here.Think Jim may have a point re the rock bottom right, but that apart it is a cracking image I do like the marching pose, lets see some more.

As already mentioned, the rock on the right hand side is a little distracting, but the super pose more than makes up for it.

Nicely done, Kim

Thank you so much for your comments, I quite liked my rock , but as you all think it should go, I have removed it ...it does look better!! I agree with Andy, I do hope some more members come back and post again,

Does improve it Kim, little nit but it did draw the eye.

Well caught

I think you could lower the saturation slightly, the background greens look a touch too vivid on my Mac screen  :toast: :toast:

Hi Kim,

I like the repost, but I do agree with Mike, that lower saturation would improve the image.

Cheers,
Marko
