Sandy I think most all saw the reports on TV some time ago about this issue, but the cause was not known until recently. This is yet another modern virus that appears to be a part of life going forward at this time. Here's hoping science can figure out how to eradicate this disease.

It seems like it was not too long ago it was Lyme disease that was one of our newest discovered bite transmitted sicknesses. Having seen my own father suffer from bouts of malaria for years after being infected during WWII these bite transmitted infections can be crippling to all. :frown:

It has been heart wrenching.

For anyone thinking of traveling to Farmington Bay to photograph the eagles they won't be killing the invasive carp this winter so the eagles won't be here in large numbers. They don't want the eagles all in one area.
