Shot this Painted tTrillium along the shoulder of Rt 16 about 9 miles south of Errol, NH. There it was just off the shoulder of the road growing where the state had mowed the brush last fall. It only has one ding mark from the heavy rain from the night before. LOTS of Painted Trilliums are blooming in the north woods, although most of them are batered from the heavy rains. Anything that blooms this week should be primo!!!
Very nice photo, excellent shapness in flower and peddles and blurred background makes it pop. I was back in the Spruceton valley here in the Catskill Mountains and the painted trillium were out in force and so was the wind.
