I was on a business trip to Las Vegas in November. Knowing it was a short drive up to Zion, I flew out Sunday morning rather than Sunday evening. That got me a chance to drive up and spend a few hours at Zion.
I know many of you have probably waded the Zion Narrows. I have too. But never in November.
I had about 2 hours there and went right for the Narrows. waded them in shorts and my Keen sandals. At this point you are probably thinking-hey I bet that was cold.....it was!
Anyway, I had fun, got a few shots and then drove back to Vegas!
Good capture, good story. Glad you got there. I like the second with the vert. perspective, the tree balances nicely with the darker rock.

Darren, great captures of one of my favorite places in the world. This canyon is amazing. You need to plan on hiking the canyon from top to bottom to see the true "Narrows". The part of the canyon where you can reach out and touch wall to wall. It's just a two day hike down and worth every step.
And if you or Rod go, let me know. Stan and I are just itching to go back!
