Client request for some large landscape prints for new home. Bayou scenes with Cypress trees and hanging moss come to mind but open to any ideas. Trees are dormant now but come May I would like to spend some time traveling Louisiana. I live in Dallas.
Thanks in advance

You might look at Caddo lake it just east of Jefferson Tx. Mercer Bayou just south of Texarkana is loaded with cypress trees also. You will need a boat on both. Give me a call and I will take you out if that would help

Agree about Caddo Lake. Moss covered Cyprus trees and close to big D.
Farther away would be Atchafalaya basin near Lafayette.

St. Francisville La. Has it all. Plantation homes I recommend 2 Rosedown and Greenwood Plantations Another place I love to photograph is Afton villa. the old plantation is gone but the grounds are amazing!!Grace Episcopal church grounds are amazing for a photographer and a must see. Cat Island National wildlife refuge has the national record for the largest bald cyprus tree. The moss covered trees at Rosedown and Greenwood are amazing. If you can plan your visit when the azaleas are blooming its a plus.
