Hi everyone,
Although I have never posted a photo on the UK forum before I have been checking out all the wonderful shots posted here since I joined a couple of years ago. I am a 99% landscape photographer but if an photo opportunity pops up in front of me I will try my best to take it.
I took this shot last week on Llanddwyn Island, Anglesey.
Nice to see another landscaper on this forum, as I need some company from time to time . So PLEASE post some ladscape images of yours as well.
I like the comic nature of your photo. But above all, the detail in the grass is plain fantastic. I'm thinking of some radical croping, but yes, I like it as is.
Hi Gary,
Will gladly look at any of your work......landscape or otherwise......if it's quality is as good as this.
I'm not very active with wildlife/landscapes anymore, but when the chance arrives I don't turn away from it.
Cheers
John

Welcome to posting here - hopefully a few more to come too?
Looks a hardy pony, and in a good shaggy winter coat too - so it was probably really enjoying a good scratch!
You might like to try it as a B&W image (and add a bit of grain too), and also works as a panoramic
Nick, these Welsh mountain ponies are very hardy, Llanddwyn Island gets the full brunt off the Irish sea.
Marko, I will sure post a few landscapes.
Thanks again, Gary.
I'm loving the windswept grass on this one, Gary.
