Daisy
This is our chihuahua Daisy, in her 14th year.
She has congestive heart failure, and is on a heart medication and lassix now. She's a tough old gal, survived a copperhead attack in her 5th year, with the loss of an eye.
We both love her greatly. This is from late last year.
I thought I'd share her while she's still with us..

Sorry to hear her time with you is limited. :frown: Sounds like she had a fulfilling life with your family who stood by and loved her in spite of her problems. Give her lots of love while you still can! (as I'm sure you will).

Sounds like a magnificent pet Howard. It's amazing how they enhance our lives. My retired racing greyhound Kitty really enhances mine!

Yes they do.. Daisy's very special to me. Every evening she shares couch potato status with me
I probably love her too much, if that's possible..

Our critters are always special to us and are a big part of the family life. Daisy looks like a super nice lady too.
Is this an old film shot, or just framed that way Howard?

I looked up couch potato in the dictionary and it showed a photo of my dog!

I train for a few hours every morning and then I have the ultimate couch potato company in the form of Kitty (racing name KittyHawk). Daisy looks like a very feisty girl - capable of couch potato duty or romping.
