Hi,

I haven't been active recently and am seriously considering whether to renew my membership, I have been a member since 2004 and have seen many people come and go and the occasional skirmish.

I have been shocked to hear about some of the underhand goings, non of which involved UKNPN or NPN I should point out, in what was the best regional nature photography forum around.

Sometimes other things become more important, Fran and I became husband and wife in September and we have been busy making our house our own plus we have had a couple of close family losses over the last two years.

I am also leading up to retirement, one of the good things about working for a government institution is I don't have to wait till I am 65 and busy making plans for the future, we are still taking photographs but I feel that our outlook and aims are taking a new direction...

Any way good luck to you all and I hope that the forum picks up a bit and gets a bit more participation and of course, early seasons greeting to everyone...

Phil

Phil I will be sorry if you decide to leave .As you rightly say there are far more important things in life than daft things on picture forums. Sorry to here about your sad losses but I wish you and Fran all the best for a very happy future .
