Nature Photogrpahy & the Holiday Season

I was thinking of having a challenge to the folks in North East Nature Photographers but I need your help to choose 3 categories. My ideas thus far for categories are:

1) Nature and the Holiday - Unique combo of nature photography and a holiday theme all Nov / Dec holidays would apply

2) Start of Winter -

3) End of Autumn -

My thinking is that we would post these photos in the NENP forum until Jan 5th and then we would decide some winners. I will come up with some prizes for the three winners (nothing huge, just recognition)

Please reply with you thoughts on what the 3 categories should be and lets have some fun!

Thank you Jim, I think this is a very nice idea. Let me give some thought to additional categories; that's not my strongest point, but I'll be glad to participate in the challenge in any case.

I like #1 Jim but ice abstracts maybe another category.

Eva _ Ice abstracts would be great as long as we can get a few folks to focus on those kinds of images. Any opinions on that?
