Interesting example of the "miracles" of photoshop in re-working and "improving" a female model, step by step..

There was a similar video done by the Dove Foundation and I like the line they put up at the end of it: "No wonder our perception of beauty is so distorted."

When I see all of these perfect bodies shoved in our faces on the magazines in the grocery checkout lines, I crack up because the people being shown don't actually exist on this planet, at least in that form.

Thanks Sandi for posting this! It is really eye opening and shocking! it should be a mandatory video for all young girls to watch so that they can see that what they are seeing in the magazines is not real, it may help our girls growing up with such a distorted idea of what their bodies should look like and what beauty really is. I think we all should sign this petition.

…. and just like some folks think all of our pretty sunset photos are "Photoshop magic” many will also assume that all pretty girl photos are also fake.

What a shame. There are many pretty models who require no liquefy or alteration to look stunning. There are many talented photographers who can capture the beauty. I hope they do not need to apologize for their art.
