Western Kansas Color
Got out to my favorite spot in Western Kansas this weekend, Clark County Lake. Like Colorado and here as well, the color seems about 1-2 weeks behind. Usually these Cottonwoods are solid yellow but not yet this year. It was nice to see the lake was full and the ground was not totally parched as it has been for the last couple of years.

The best color was the Poison Ivy, look but don't touch.

Ken, the Poison Ivy looks good but it makes me itch just looking at it!

Rugged country! I wish you were going to join us this fall.

I did not know Kansas has such topography in the western portion.
Nice.
