Thanks all,

@Keith,
It's just waiting in the hide. Must be non-raining days the days before you're in the hide and sometimes there will be 30 to 40 of them. On "my" there were "only" 10 or 12 max.
But yes I'm lucky and very happy.

Thanks all.

Tom you have to have a bit of luck sometimes and I would be happy also :smile: :smile: :smile:

A bird I've only heard and never seen. Interesting shots showing the different ranges of plumage too.

Was the pool deliberately setup for the hide - almost looks like someone has tried to create a slightly more natural looking reflecting pool style?!

Hi Nick,

Yes the pool was made there delibately. Also the hide. These hide you can rent for a day. Pro photographer Han Bouwmeester made this (and other) hide as first for him to make photo's but after that period he have them for rent for others. If you ever com to the Netherlands you can also rent such a hide. He now has a lot of experience in making this hides and let them look very natural. But you can also bring your own branches of you want to, to make your own setup.
If you want more info you can always send me a mail.

Thanks for looking.
