GSMNP fall color info - OFFICIAL FALL COLOR THREAD

I was trying to contact the park service, but obviously due to the government shutdown, no luck. Can anyone give me a forecast for fall colors around mid to late October. Thanks in advance.

Went up to the parkway today at Graveyard fields. The color is looking nice here.

Good posts and thanks for sharing! I was hoping to go down in 10 days; maybe the Parks will re-open by the 17th. I was in the Tetons when that closed....
