Use a 20D to take some RAW and Jpeg pics simultaniously yester day. Uploaded into PC no problem. Earlier today, update the PC with ACR 3.4. The version will see the JPEGs but not RAW. Uninstalled and reinstalled ACR 3.4 thrice without any joy (can only see generic thumbnails). Purged the central cache without any joy too. Have now reinstalled 3.3 and can now see thye RAW files.
Advice as to any problem here.

Hmm. Since you're reinstalling 3.3 and seeing the RAW files, you're obviously putting the plug-in in the right folder. I don't know if it should make any difference, but have you also updated to the latest version of Bridge (1.0.4)?
Have you tried asking at the Adobe forums yet? I often find that I can find answers there without even having to ask the question
