Feasting flies
In my back garden last week. Whatever it was these flies appreciated it.
Anaglyph so red/cyan glasses needed to view in 3D.

Fujifilm W3 3D camera, Cyclopital macro attachment, Marumi DHG Achromat
Digital High Grade +5 macro lens
Sigma flash
ISO 100
1000 sec, f9

Processed in StereoPhotoMaker

W3 cameras are at a great price now if any one is interested.

Thanks Keith. :wavey: I'm glad you've still got the glasses. I spend most of my photographic time in 3D land now, but seeing the lack of activity on UKNP I felt I had to post something to help keep it ticking over and I hope stimulate at least a modicum of interest.

Good to see you posting again david.
Like you I,ve been doing 3D quite a lot.Mainly Little owls
I,ll post one for you. Found a new way of doing it with oput taking the camera off the ball head.
Kids at the shows I do love 'em ! I think they just like looking daft in the glasses.
Nice shot if you like flies !
Cheers

Not the nicest of subjects, but 3D definitely adds something to the overall effect. Good to see you posting again.

Thanks David. :wavey: I don't think these flies would agree with you about the subject, though David.  Whatever it was it certainly attracted the flies. You're right about the extra dimension adding to the overall effect. That is why I specialise in 3D now; 2D is, er, so two-dimensional and flat, IMO

Get the much underrated Fujifilm W3 3D camera, which is now at a bargain price, and give it a go.
