A better way to change the brush size in Photoshop

As far as I know photographers have always used the bracket keys to change the brush sizes in photoshop. Sometimes they just won't work until you change to another tool. Other times you will accidentally hit the P key and swear. About a month ago I discovered a much more efficient way.

On a Mac hold down the control + options keys together
On a PC it's the control + alt key.. I think?

Click on the mouse and drag the mouse left or right while holding down on the mouse. Moving the mouse to the left will decrease the brush size and moving to the right will increase the brush size.
Don't go yet...there's more. To change the hardness of the brush, do the same as above but instead drag the mouse up and down. Give it a try, there's no going back.

On a PC you hold down the CTRL and ALT keys, right-click the mouse and drag left or right. To the left makes the brush smaller and vice versa.
If you drag down the edge will get harder. If you drag up it gets softer.

Awesome tip. What I love most about it is that you get a visual of exactly what the brush looks like. At least that's the way it works in CS6.
