D7000 500mm f4 ISO 250 1/500s at f8 handheld lay prone lens resting on tussock for support.
Same hare as last post. Had a lengthy grooming session and I managed to get a shot as it cleaned its rear foot, big aren't they?
At the end of the grooming session it stretched and yawned whilst looking right at the camera and I missed it 'cos the camera was buffering after taking a series of shots. Boy was I upset and that's when you wish you had a pro body like the D4. I guess I am going to have to go back and try again!
Many thanks for all your comments on my last post, greatly appreciated.

Thanks Phil & Bob. Gosh it's quiet on the forum just now, must be the hot weather. Heatwave up here in the Highlands, had to take me woolley vest off yesterday!

Sucking someone else's toes can get you into trouble, so you may as well suck your own, if you are able to, of course!!

I am off to Cornwall for a week my wife says leave your camera at home so you can borrow my D4
Thanks for your crop tip on my Puffin.
(I think I.d sooner have a sharp camera than a pro body)
