From today as I had nothing else to do, I had a play with my 2x on the 600 for a bit of fun.

Phil.

Ps have a look at the big one.

Shows what can be done Phil.
A few waders will be coming through our little scrape soon. Not good weather for sitting in hides though (I don't mean the big posh wooden jobs !!) Small sweaty material ones !
Cheers

Cracking detail Phil. Is the 2x the latest version?

I usually prefer a low POV for birds like these but like the way you can see the legs through the water in this one.
Bit tight in the frame but what can you expect with a 2x.. :toast:

Phil as Jeroen pointed out a bit large in the frame but to me with it being that way really does show some excellent detail.

Hadnt thought about the legs until Jeroens comment and now the POV works for me although a would like a bit more space around the subject

Hi Nick no it's a AF-I one but they are the same as the AF-S II the thing is with the nikon tc they can be a bit hit and miss so I got 10 s/h ones and picked the one with the best IQ on the 200f2 & 600 and then sent the rest back to the shops.
