Health and safety in the hide !!!

Strange thing happened last night.
I sat in my small pop up hide doing the Little owls. My old trusty folding stool started to creak and one of the spells had broken.
I got out and searched around the farm and found an old plasic bucket.
Went back in and settled down. I had put the camera on the floor at the side. I zipped up the back of the hide. Next thing I know is the back of the bucket collapsed and I fell backwards taking the hide with me. This pulled the tripod with it and the next thing is the big manfrotto ball head hit me on the fore head. I was gone for a couple of seconds. Good job I hadn't got the camera on.
The owls just laughed !!
Just shows its all too easy.

Sounds like you do not need the hide John as you appear to be a spectator sport for the LOWLS it perhaps best to give them a clear view

Happens to the best of us JR. Its a good job the camera wasn't on the tripod as you say.........you might have broken it!

I hope you got t checked out, John. Your head I mean, I take getting the gear checked out for granted. I wonder if the owls are swapping stories of the strange antics going on?
