Door stopper
Last autumn this beast stretched it trap across the door I my garden shed, stopping all DIY and gardening for over a month. I have no idea what species it is but it gave up so much of its time posing I didn’t like to disturb it. All comments and an I.D welcome.

Love the lighting on this one Bob. It is a Garden Cross Spider (Araneus Diadematus) for ID, very common but not always easy to photograph.

Excellent with super light. My only minor nit is that it appears to be moving out of the frame rather than into it

Thank all , the back lighting was produced with a bit of kitchen foil and the afternoon sun.
