All, just wanted to past and say the landscape photography workshop I did here in Fort Worth was a pretty good success. Some 50+ people made the classroom session and we had close to 30 make it out for the Saturday field outing.
I do not expect much in the way of successful summer photography in Texas as it is too hot, too clear, too green, and too buggy. Well we ended up with too hot but we got some great morning clouds that put on a great sunrise for us. Here is my best one from the morning. We then had a nice time exploring the creeks and trails in the park. Even had one guy bring a 4x5 he had just bought. After a few more hours in the heat many of us made the trek to Granbury and then lunch at Babes Fried Chicken.
Good sunrise, great conversation, and yummy food. It was a winning day!
