Standing guard

I realise thsi is not a great shot but it shows what was going on this Spring as the Missippi River was raising. We just had our third crest of the year. This is the view we saw as we drove in on the road just before it was closed. The GBH would be lined up on either side waiting for breakfast. There were usualy more than this I just could not get them to stand and pose for a better shot. Posted larger size just for better viewing.

Pretty smart....they must assume that fish will be brought along with the water as it flows over the road. Good eye, Kendall.
