I will be taking a photo trip to South Africa in August (MalaMala). It looks like I will have a 2-3 extra days on the back end of the trip and I am looking for photography ideas in the Johannesberg area. Others have suggested De Wildt for Cheetahs or the Elepahnt Sanctuary. I'd be interested in any thoughts about these two options or any other ideas in the area. I'm mostly interested in additional wildlife opportunities, but, good landscape and cultural ideas would work as well, I just want to get as much out of this trip as I can - don't know when I'll be back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pilanesberg National Park is about 2 hours away from Johannesburg. I have seen a lot of great photos of kingfishers and other birds from the blinds there. I hear it is also a good park to see rhino. There are several lodges in and near the park.
