Planet Conjuction
The planets Jupiter, Venus and Mercury will rapidly close to a tight area from not until the 26th.

This photo was taken last night, 21May13, from my backyard area.

Nikon D700 with Nikkor 50mm, f/1.4 Will send metadata if needed but skew exposure to the right of your histogram and then reduce the exposure, tripod, and mirror up. Most lenses perform better 2-3 f/stops below the widest aperture.

I enjoyed photographing one of these events back in March of 2012 in western KS. Thanks for sharing Larry.

congrats on getting to see and photograph the event. We have had cloudy horizons at sunset the whole time the conjunction was happening.
