Hi,

Need Expert advice.

Planning to invest in Lee filter holder SW -150 and Singh-ray filter ( 3 stop soft GND) for my Nikon 14 -24mm f / 2.8 .

And as per Lee SW-I50 holder specs : It can take 2 filters of 150mm x 170mm size.

My queries :

1) Does Singh-ray create 150mm x 170mm filters and whether they can be used with Lee SW-150 holder.

2) Lee vs Singh-ray filters (In terms of Vignette and color cast)

All Inputs & suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance

A quick look at the Singh-Ray site shows they have ND-Grads in 150mm X 225mm and 150mm X 150mm, but nothing that's 150 X170mm.

You might want to contact them and see what they may be able to do for you in terms of a custom size.

I have Singh-Ray grads in the Cokin-P size. They are very high quality, but they weren't inexpensive. I use my grads rarely on my large format lenses and haven't noticed any issues. Lee does make excellent filters, so they are worth a serious look.
