Bluebonnets
Wildflower season is in full bloom here in Texas. I made it out the last three weekends in my quest for bluebonnets.

Here is a sunrise I caught near Ennis, Texas a couple of weekends ago.

Taken with my new toy a Sony NEX-6 kit. Picked it up as my new work travel camera. Super small and compact with a 16mp APS-C sized sensor. Now when I am bike riding or traveling for work I can have a serious cameras that is smaller and easier to pack than the 5D2.

Sweet! the sky really work well with the foreground. Looks like a wall hanger to me.

Stunning, Darren. Probably the best bluebonnet image I've ever seen... :toast: What are the yellow blooms?

Thanks all. Bill, I have no idea what the yellow bloom is. Heck I am lucky to be able to identify bluebonnets and indian paintbrush!
