The deadline for entries in the 2013 Louisville National Juried Photography Show is April 25. There are 6 categories (more chances to win) and the pool of cash and other prizes is over $9,000 this year. Non-cash prizes include DuraPlaq certificates, software from onOne, Topaz and Helicon and camera bags from ThinkTank. Go to CaFE.org and search for April 25 by deadline date. Another 'event' that charges the artist to participate, then only after they are accepted, still takes 25% of any sales. If you are not selected, you just lost your money and got nothing. Artists are supposed to BE paid, not pay the expenses of a show. And, commonly, they are free image grabs for the organizers. Beware.
