So is everyone ready for the blizzard? One good thing, I am sure of, there will be a lot of great photo ops. Just hope we don't loose power. Post some images.

Here is Joe, my husband and Blue our Black Lab breaking through a snow dune so Blue can go for a walk. Anyone else have images from snow storm Nemo?

Looks like quite a dumping Eva! Assuming all is well and your power is maintain? I of course live no where near the east coast and there are a few trees here in No. Cal that are actually blooming! I do have relatives though, a brother in Jersey/NY, my sister in CT and my wife's nephew in Cambridge. Here's my sister's hubby with the snow blower.

Hey thanks for sharing Lon. CT really got clobber. The time lapse video is really cool too. We are about 30 miles north of Cambridge. Our temps in NH were well below freezing through whole event while Boston's were not. A lot of great photo ops for sure. I was out today and took both film and digital. Almost broke my knee though when I slid on some black ice walking back to my house. I was paying attention to the light and shadows on the snow and not my footing. For sure I'll be pretty sore tomorrow. My 5DM2 hit the ground too (back first) on tripod but seems to be OK (fingers crossed). The Pentax 67II was in my backpack.

How cold was it Paul?

Eva, when I arrived my truck outside thermometer said 19 degrees in one locale. But by the time I got out to shoot it was low 30's. Once the sun was up it was hitting mid 40's. :wavey:

After days of shoveling, snowblowing and trecking through chest deep snow I think we can finally get out if necessary. Here are a few images which, unfortunately, don't really show the depth of approximately 3 feet before drifting snow. The Town finally plowed one lane on our street which is one of the major connectors of RT 8 and the Merritt Parkway. Side streets haven't been touched.

PS: My home is in CT.
