Merced River Maple

We were wandering around the slippery rocks along the Merced below Pohono Bridge looking for reflections in the calm water. I found this one.

A real nice, tranquil and peaceful scene, Preston. I bet Lon will say it is quaint. :biggrin:

Quaint indeed! (sorry now I ever came up with that adjective! :rolleyes:) Lovely scene PB. Hard to say at this size, but I'd be tempted to drop the "shadow darks" a few points; the contrast seems a little muddy - but so hard to tell and judge from these small web versions. I love the scene and composition; the reflection is terrific.
