Preston just snapped me out of my daze with an email and I remembered CANP. Don't know why I don't visit or post much here. Any way in case you folks did not see my recent work over in the Landscape gallery I thought I would post them here as well.
I did this one back early in October on the East side of the Sierra. This one was made over at the Mono Craters on the pumice fields. The sage there had been burned, don't know why or how, but it made for some great photos.
I like the idea here of showing the relic, and the rebirth after a fire. Compositionally, I am having a little trouble with the intersection of the two forks with the background plants. I like the shape of the snag which you showed to nice effect. The color and contrast look good on my uncalibrated work monitor.
I missed the Autumn on the East Side this year. Hopefully, it will be as nice in 2013!

Another nice image in your series Youssef. The area of the Crater Fire is a little way past the South Tufa and is also an interesting location for post fire photos.
