visiting New York from the UK

I am visiting New York for one week at the end of May and wondered if this is the right forum to ask for advise on Jamaica Bay?

Hi Paula,

What do you need to know about Jamaica Bay? I lived in Richmond Hill Queens as a lad -- its very close to Jamaica Bay -- and went fishing from the Cross Bay Blvd bridge and even went swimming in the poluted waters of Jamacica bay. I have not been back in recent years but if I can answer questions or help you find answers I'd be happy to help.
